Amaru
Cafeteria & Restaurant

Amaru is a Cafeteria & Restaurant that was born in 2023 as a result of a brand and concept transformation. Formerly known as "L'Indià" (Indiano), Amaru seeks to break away from this old concept to oppose it. Thus Amaru is born.

Before Suki & With Suki:

The concept of Amaru is based on Tupac Amaru II, a Quechua lilbertador who led the first and largest independence rebellion in Peru against Spanish colonisation. At the same time, Amaru is also a mythical creature of the Andean culture that signifies transformation and renewal. His representation may vary depending on the culture, but he always retains his form as a plumed serpent with wings.

For the decoration of the restaurant we created a series of paintings that revolve around the concept of colonisation in the Americas, coffee and the liberation of the South American continent at the hands of the European colonisers.

To differentiate the cafeteria and restaurant menus, we created two different menu formats that complement each other and play with papers that are part of the corporate chromatic range. Two menus that are placed on a wooden support and held in place with an elastic band that allows easy replacement of menu pages, thus creating a more dynamic and practical format for the restaurant.

Finally, we designed all the clothing worn by waiters, cooks and waitresses, following the chromatic line of the brand and under the slogan "I am 100% Amaru".
